Modern Science tells that there is no oil found in seeds of Ankola except olieo resin. But, many books in Ayurveda gave the process of extracting from these seeds and narrated many astonishing magical properties. This was practised til about 60 - 70 years ,this art becoming extinct. Hence, this monograph presented for the first time giving the procedures detailed in many Ayurveda for its revival.
